As part of the program of improvements planned for our Widnes site, UK Self Store would like to inform all customers that starting next Wednesday 26th September works will commence to the entrance area of the property which will last for approximately one week.
The works include the replacement of the existing hinged gates with a sliding gate system and the installation of 3 new security bollards.
The company selected for the supply and installation of the new gates and bollards have advised that they will ensure that access entering and exiting the UK Self Store premises will be possible throughout the vast majority of the works, however on the evening of Wednesday 26th September it will likely be necessary for UK Self Store to close early for the laying of concrete to the entrance area. Rather than the normal closing time of 5.30pm, it may be necessary to close between 4 & 4.30pm to allow sufficient time for the concrete to dry before opening time on Thursday morning. Any self storage customers or clients who store vehicles/caravans at the site are asked to visit before 4pm on Wednesday 26th to ensure access will be possible. After this time , regrettably vehicular access may not be possible until the morning of Thursday 27th September at 8.30am. With the exception of this one evening/late afternoon, every effort will be made to avoid restricting access to the site.
A small amount of inconvenience might be expected for the week following 26th September, where customers might have to wait for a few moments for contractors to move equipment from the entrance area or lay suitable boards over the ground works to allow vehicles to drive over, but contractors have assured us that they will try to keep the site as accessible as possible. The site will be secure overnight throughout the works and old gates will not be removed unless new gates are in place.
Should you have any questions relating to these improvements to our site or any other queries, please do not heistate to contact a member of our team in person at our reception area, via telephone on 0151 257 8086, or via e-mail using email@example.com
We apologise to all customers for any inconvenience throughout the duration of the works which are intended to improve the security of the site for all.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
